With past and present extensive experience in building works, contract interpretation, certification of works, mediation and industry practice, the industry knowledge is vast.

Having observed how the dynamic between builders and clients is changing, with increases in disputes more evident, a need for honest and learned representation is key. If these disputes are not addressed early on, they often escalate, and the process of becoming involved in a Court or Tribunal case can be overwhelming, stressful and expensive for all parties concerned.

Builders’ Dispute Resolution Network was established to represent residential builders who are experiencing homeowner client conflicts. By engaging with us early in the dispute, we endeavour to assist builders by reviewing and providing our view on the disputed matters, investigating and suggesting possible outcomes that meet the interests of all parties, and assisting builders through a mediation process.

We are not lawyers and do not provide legal advice, although we associate with an extensive legal team if matters cannot be resolved. We provide our industry specific experience endeavouring to assist fellow builders achieve practical outcomes. In doing so, we strive to minimise the costs that can be incurred by builders when responding to disputes, whilst maintaining building industry professionalism and maintaining amicable rapport between builders and their clients.
